Keep praying. Keep praying. That’s what the four chaplains for Cowlitz County ask churches to do. All the missing have been found. Celebrations of life have begun and those injured are healing, but the shock, the pain, and the sense of loss continues. Pray not just with words, but with actions. There are plenty of fundraisers we can contribute to, but we can also be there for those we know. Sometimes, all it takes is to ask, “How are you doing?” Then be there to hear what they have to say.
Keep praying. See how God is present in the midst of the trauma of what happened at Nippon and with any and all who are living through difficult times. Remember we’re never alone. God always meets us where we are. May we do the same with each other.
